A supplement to multi collagen: Vitamin C contributes to the production of collagen. That is why Happy-Older has added vitamin C to these capsules in addition to MSM.
Because vitamin C is naturally acidic and multi-collagen must be taken on an empty stomach, it was decided to use a non-acidic variant, namely calcium ascorbate. The capsule contains even more nutrients, namely; zinc, vitamin D3, copper and MSM.

What is MSM? MSM stands for MethylSulfonylMethane and is a water-soluble sulfur compound.
Sulfur compounds are part of the sulfur-containing amino acids cysteine and methionine. These are part of proteins, which also occur in collagen and keratin, which in turn occurs in skin, the hair and the nails.
Without sulfur-containing amino acids, these proteins cannot be formed. Sulfur is an essential element that occurs all over the world, including in our body. MSM originates in seas and oceans where it enters the atmosphere as gas and falls through rain onto our agricultural land and ends up in our vegetables. Research has shown that our vegetables contain only half of these sulfur compounds compared to vegetables in 1950. This is partly due to the exhaustion of agricultural land and the cultivation of crops in greenhouses. In addition, the amount of MSM decreases when vegetables are cooked or frozen.

Still, strangely enough, you don't often hear about sulfur. There is also still no Reference Intake (RI) for sulfur. Because you need so much sulfur on a daily basis, you will not find this element in a multi-preparation. This simply does not fit. If you want to supplement sulfur, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a good source of sulfur. The sulfur in MSM is natural and easy to use for the body.
About half of all sulfur in our body is in our skin, hair, bones and muscles. It is involved in many bodily processes, making the daily requirement for MSM high. With age, the amount in our body decreases. That is why it is important to supplement MSM through food or a supplement.

Vitamin D3 maintains strong bones, normal function of the immune system and is good for the muscles.
It can be produced by the body itself from sunlight and absorbed from food. The amount of sunlight in the Netherlands is not always sufficient to produce sufficient vitamin D, certainly not if the "R" is in the month, so supplementation is recommended for some groups. As people get older (women 50+, men 70+) vitamin D3 should be supplemented all year round.
Vitamin D contributes to the proper absorption of calcium from the diet.

Zinc helps care for the skin and nourishes it from within.
Contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails.
Its antioxidant properties make it good for the immune system and helps protect healthy cells and tissues.
Zinc also contributes to the maintenance of strong bones.
Also contributes to a normal concentration, memory and learning ability.

Copper activates the body's natural energy.
Contributes to the normal pigmentation of the hair.
Has an anti-oxidative effect, whereby the natural defense system of the body cells is supported.
It helps protect body cells against external influences, such as pollution and sunlight.

Preferably use 2 MSM-PLUS capsules simultaneously with collagen intake on an empty stomach.
One package contains 120 capsules. Good for 60 days of use.
